Gardiner’s 1-Day HVAC Technical Training courses offered are specifically designed around the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment and products. In this course, students will spend time becoming familiar with the various types of single and three phase motors and applications used in the HVAC industry.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
- Investigate motor starting torque and how to work with torque characteristics
- Learn the basics of motor multi-speed setting and control
After completion of this class, student will have an understanding of motors and their components, including basic troubleshooting of motors and their controlling devices such as relays, contactors, starters, thermostats and safety devices.
TARGET AUDIENCE: Commercial Contractors, HVAC Service & Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance Supervisors

CLASS EDUCATION CREDITS: No Continuing Education Units (CEUs) – A certificate of completion (8 hours) will be provided to those for self-reporting.
