Gardiner’s 1-Day HVAC Technical Training courses offered are specifically designed around the operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment and products. In this course, students will learn the basics of refrigeration within the air conditioning environment.
After an introduction to what refrigeration is and refrigerants are, students will delve into the refrigeration process itself. Students will learn the specific components to any basic refrigeration cycle, the properties and color codes of the most common refrigerants, and will have a discussion on the recovery, recycling or reclaiming of refrigerants. All of this will be put to practical use by plotting the refrigerant cycles for a variety of refrigerants and blends. Students will exit the class with a broad exposure to the physics and mechanics of the refrigeration cycle.

CLASS SIZE: Limited to 25 Students
CLASS EDUCATION CREDITS: No Continuing Education Units (CEUs) – A certificate of completion (8 hours) will be provided to those for self-reporting.
