GARDINER CARES

Giving Back is Part of Who We Are

Giving back to the community is a big part of who we are. Our Associates are dedicated to not only making GARDINER a great company to work with, but in helping to make Northeast Ohio a better place to live and supporting worthy causes.

That commitment to giving back comes directly from our people. It reflects their spirit of continuous improvement and sustainability, and a belief that strong, enduring partnerships help make things better for everyone.

Join Our Team

VeloSano

Since the event’s inception in 2014, GARDINER has fielded a team of riders in The Cleveland Clinic’s VeloSano: Bike to Cure race.  Like every company and family, GARDINER has been greatly impacted by cancer, and we’re proud to support this effort, where 100% of the money donated goes directly to cancer research right here in Northeast Ohio. Last year, our team raised $8,855, more than doubling their goal.

Forbes House

Forbes House is a local shelter for victims of domestic abuse. For nearly a decade, GARDINER Associates have committed to help 25 families each year that leave the shelter. Each year around Christmas, associates stock baskets of food, household goods, toys and supplies to give to these families. It’s an Associate-driven cause that has become a staple of the season at GARDINER.

Dress Down for a Cause

Every little bit helps. Throughout the year, GARDINER asks Associates for a $5 donation to participate in dress down Fridays for various causes. Many of these are nominated by the Associates themselves, many near and dear to our hearts. It’s just another small example of everyone pulling together to give back. Last year we raised over $X from this effort.

Blood Drive

Sometimes the most important donations have nothing to do with money. GARDINER is proud to host the LifeShare Blood Mobile multiple times during the year. Associates set an appointment online and are able to donate on-site at our offices. Participation is completely optional, but we’re constantly amazed by the generosity of even some very squeamish Associates.
